Lleyn Adventure Activities is registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA)
and aims to provide fun adventurous activities on the Lleyn Peninsula and around Snowdonia. It is
managed by Chris Thorne who holds the Mountain Instructors Award. The majority of activities will
be conducted by Chris who comes from a rock climbing and mountaineering background that was
gained while serving with the RAF. He enjoys all sorts of outdoor pursuits from climbing and surfing
to running and cycling.
We operate from the outskirts of Abersoch at Tanrallt Farm where a selection of accommodation is
available. The owners of the farm also offer hovercraft riding activities, for more information please go

In Chris’s absence or during busy periods Chris will be assisted by suitably qualified colleagues who
all share the same passion for adventure.
